Opportunity Knocks, headquartered in Washington, DC, was established in 1997 by Denise Calore, an expert in the field of organization development. Since its inception, the company has achieved results for a wide variety government agencies, businesses, non-profits, educators, and youth.

The company was founded on the core belief that change leads to opportunity. More specifically, organizations that thrive rather than survive are those that embrace change and figure out how to effectively incorporate the change into their organizational strategy, structure and day-to-day business processes to achieve desired results.

The company also was formed to help ensure the next generation of organizations and professionals are positioned for success. This means exposing youth now to the skills they will need to be successful contributors in society and the workplace.
