 Team Adventures
Through our "Team Adventures," youth are given a chance to form and operate an organization, either real or simulated, that reflects their personal interests. Along the way, they develop real-world talents, and hone their creativity, self-sufficiency, problem-solving, and confidence.
During the primary and secondary learning years, most youth are taught the "basics" - reading, writing, math, history, science. It is not until college that they have the opportunity to learn about the practical aspects of team work. Team Adventures is an excellent way to supplement a child's education and after-school care by helping develop abilities that are age appropriate, while at the same time preparing them for tomorrow's work environment.
When youth participate in our programs, they take part in team building activities that transforms their creative ideas into an actual organizational venture. Along the way, they will not only discover the basic functions of an organization (e.g., planning, sales, marketing, financial management, operations, communications, govt relations, human resources), but they will also experience a "hands-on" approach to building their team. As a result, they gain a basic understanding of the value of planning and teamwork.
